Quarry Cinema (Currently Alamo Quarry Stadium 16) had a soft grand opening on March 18, 1998 and a grand opening on March 20, 1998. The multiplex was built by ACT III, Santikos Theatres. In the early 2000's Regal Cinemas bought out ACT III Theatres. Later Santikos acquired its original theatres and this theatre remained with Regal Cinemas.
